This is the first piece we recorded that winter solstice day. We wished to start from what in Kongo is called "sese" (emptiness) and in India is called "nada brahma." The intention was to breathe into the overtones sound of the OM or HU — this even before we would begin to move around the instruments. Nods to Scelsi and Rothko.
